The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin is excited to announce that our 14th Annual Amateur Charity Golf Classic will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Pineapple Valley Golf Club.
Since our founding in 2010, we have been dedicated to supporting local and regional causes, raising millions of Thai baht to enhance the lives of underprivileged communities in Thailand and to fund educational projects in other developing countries.
Our Amateur Golf Classic is the primary fundraising event that supports our community service initiatives. Since July 2023, we have invested 1,166,172 Thai baht into twenty-three impactful projects. Notably, our flagship initiative, the Children’s Water Safety & Drowning Prevention program, has been running for the past three years. This program has taught over 600 children from ten Hua Hin schools essential swimming skills, water safety awareness, and life-saving techniques. Another significant project was the purchase of a much-needed ambulance for Hua Hin Hospital, costing 2.5 million Thai baht. The new, fully-equipped ambulance, which arrived on August 21, will provide emergency assistance to countless individuals for years to come.
